On Friday, the 15th, within the framework of the all-Ukrainian innovative educational project “Robotics Design System in Computer Science Lessons in Basic Schools”, a working meeting with teachers - participants of the project was held in the format of a methodological master class.
On May 15, 2026, as part of the Days of Science, the International Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists, Postgraduate Students, Masters and Students "Current Problems of Practical Psychology" was held at Ushynsky University. The team of the psychology departments of Ushynsky University, together with foreign partners (Chisinau, Moldova; Krakow, Poland; Lithuania, Vilnius) and domestic higher education institutions (Vinnytsia, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv), prepared interesting reports on the problems of modern practical psychology.
On May 14, a unique event took place for students of the Faculty of Arts and Graphics of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky - a creative meeting with the world-famous Odesa sculptor, architect and artist Mykhailo Reva.
This special visit was made possible thanks to the initiative and personal invitation of the rector of Ushynsky University, Andriy Krasnozhon.
On May 14, 2026, with the participation of the Center for International Projects and Programs of Ushynsky University, a cooperation agreement was concluded between the State Institution "South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky" and the University of Central Lancashire - UCLan (Cyprus).
As part of the Science Week, an open binary lecture was held on May 14, 2026 on the topic: "Neuropedagogy in Primary Education: Challenges and Prospects". The speakers of the event were Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Viktoriya BALAKIREVA and Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Lyudmila KOLBINA.
As part of the Science Week at Ushynsky University, on May 14, a curatorial hour “Science Day in Ukraine” was held in a group of 1st-year masters majoring in A4 Secondary Education, subject specialty A4.01 Secondary Education (Ukrainian Language and Literature) (curator T. Y. Bandura). The event was dedicated to Science Day, which this year is celebrated on May 16. An informative presentation by master’s student A. Hudak immersed the participants in the diverse world of history, development, and current trends of world and Ukrainian science.
On May 13, 2026 at 10:00 at the Department of Educational Management and Public Administration, as part of the Science Day, a round table "Current Problems of State Building" was held with the participation of 4th-year students majoring in "Public Management and Administration".
