Congratulations to Ivan Petrov, the first-year student majoring in B 5 Musical Art (class of the teacher of the Department of Theoretical, Musical-Instrumental and Vocal Training, Doctor of Philosophy G. O. Ralo) on his victory in the International Competition "Prazka Symfonie", which was held from May 20 to 25 in Prague (Czech Republic).
The student scientific circle "International Relations and Diplomacy" under the leadership of Candidate of Pol. Sciences, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of Political Science and Law Svitlana DMYTRASHKO has been awarded the award as the best scientific circle at Ushynsky University for the second year in a row. This year, the scientific circle received the Winner's Diploma in the nomination "SCIENCE IN ACTION".
On May 29, a discussion of the OPP Management of Socio-Cultural Activities in specialty D3 Management for the first (bachelor's) level of higher education took place. Having previously familiarized themselves with the draft of the EPP Management of Socio-Cultural Activities, the participants of the meeting first listened to the information of the guarantor of the educational program, Prof. O.V. Liseyenko, who made a brief analytical review of the EPP Management of Socio-Cultural Activities, reported the position of the developers of the EPP Management of Socio-Cultural Activities (O. V. Liseyenko, R. Borinshtein, S. S. Romanenko, P. Yu. Kozlenko, D. E. Pozniye). A member of the working group, Doctor of Philosophy, Prof. Ye.R. Borinshtein analyzed the specifics of the EPP Management of Socio-Cultural Activities.
A discussion was held with stakeholders of the interdisciplinary educational and scientific program "Philosophy of Business and Sociocultural Practices" for specialties B10 Philosophy and B12 Culturology and Museology for the second (master's) level of higher education. On May 12, at an extended meeting of the department, the latest ideas and proposals regarding the interdisciplinary program that addresses the needs of society were heard.
On May 28, 2026, the results of the annual scientific paper competition “There is integrity!” was announced at the State Institution “South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky”, initiated to popularize the principles of academic integrity, develop scientific ethics, and form a culture of responsible academic writing.
In order to activate the research activities of higher education applicants, popularize student science and support innovative initiatives, a competition for the best scientific circle (problem group) was held at Ushynsky University in May 2026. The competition was organized in accordance with the Regulations on the Student Scientific Circle (Problem Group) of the State Institution "South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky", approved by the decision of the Academic Board of the University (Minutes No. 8 of March 24, 2022) and the order of the rector No. 140 of May 11, 2026.
On May 28, 2026, the II round of the VII All-Ukrainian competition of scientific papers for student youth “Healthy Child – Healthy Nation” took place in the 2025/2026 academic year.
This year, the scientific event brought together 34 young researchers in specialty “C4 Psychology” from all higher education institutions of Ukraine.
