Sofiya Khan, a student at the Educational and Research Institute of Musical and Performing Arts and Sociocultural Practices, won first place in the "Vocal Genre – Academic" category at the "Les Rythmes de Paris" International Two-Round Competition (Paris, France), held as part of the Ukraine–France international project (World Angels Festivals – Art World Festivals).

On September 8, 2026, the first online meeting of the international consortium of the WELLBEING-STEAM project: Innovative Digital Storytelling for Inclusive and Flexible Vocational Education and Training took place, which is implemented within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA220-VET program — Cooperation Partnerships in Vocational Education and Training. The project is designed for 24 months — from September 2026 to August 2028 — and brings together partners from Portugal, Poland, Romania, Ukraine and Spain. The project coordinator is the Polytechnic Institute of Santarém (Portugal).
In September–October 2026, Ushynsky University will host CHESNO.Fest - a festival of academic integrity, which will unite students, postgraduates, scientific and pedagogical staff and university specialists around the culture of honest learning, teaching and research.
On September 8, an online master class on the topic “The Impact of Insomnia (Sleep Disorders) in Modern Ukrainian Realities” was held on the basis of the platform of the educational laboratory “SKREPKA”, which operates at the Educational and Scientific Institute of Psychology and Social Sciences of Ushynsky University.

On September 5–6, the PORT literary festival took place in Odesa, a large-scale cultural event that brought together writers, readers, artists, and everyone interested in contemporary Ukrainian literature. This year, the festival was held under the focal theme “Stones on the Coast,” which became a space for conversations about memory, resilience, the experience of loss, and what remains after the waves of time and history.
