The Educational and Scientific Institute of Psychology and Social Sciences of Ushynsky University continues to expand the network of partner institutions to ensure high-quality practical training for higher education applicants.
As part of the implementation of the Erasmus+ KA2 CBHE “TURBO” project (“Reimagining Universities’ Response to Big Obstacles: Building Resilient Higher Education for Crisis Management”), the “Business and Technology: A New Start” study program, a reporting conference-presentation of business plans was held, during which faculty teams presented their own entrepreneurial ideas, demonstrating creativity, strategic thinking, and readiness to implement modern solutions in the professional sphere.

The outstanding Ukrainian sociologist Vil Savbanovych Bakirov celebrated his 80th anniversary on June 8. Vil Savbanovych Bakirov is a Doctor of Sociological Sciences, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, Rector of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University (1998 - 2021), President of the Sociological Association of Ukraine (SAU), who is known for his achievements in scientific research and pedagogical activities, creative energy, purposefulness, and dedication to sociological science and education.
On June 5, the first working meeting of the participants of the international project CareBridge: Norwegian-Ukrainian cooperation in the training of psychologists and community mental health specialists was held, which will be implemented within the framework of the Nansen EDU program.
On June 5, students of the Faculty of History and Philology, together with the Head of the Department of Ukrainian and Foreign Literature, Associate Professor G.A. Avksentieva and Associate Professor of the Department N. I. Kerdivar, visited the XXVI All-Ukrainian Exhibition-Forum “Ukrainian Book in Odesa Region”, which traditionally took place in the Odesa National Scientific Library and became an important event in the cultural life of the region.

On June 4, for postgraduate students of specialties 015 Vocational Education and 011 Educational, Pedagogical Sciences, there was held a guest lecture by Vasyl Kaplinsky, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of Vinnytsia Mykhailo Kotsiubynsky State Pedagogical University on the topic "Pedagogical Case as a Space for Professional Thinking and Making Optimal Decisions".
