On June 16, 2026, at a meeting of the Department of Pedagogy of Ushynsky University, a discussion of the draft educational and scientific program for the training of future Doctors of Philosophy in specialty A1 Educational Sciences took place.
The meeting of the department was attended by stakeholders, Doctors of Pedagogical Sciences, Professors Olena Kovshar, Larysa Zdanevych, Nadiya Kichuk. The reviewers presented their own vision of the vectors for modernizing the content of the ESP "Educational, Pedagogical Sciences" in the context of changes to the regulatory framework of education, the policy of academic integrity and open science.
At the invitation of the guarantor of the educational and scientific program, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Tetyana Koycheva, the scientific supervisors of postgraduate students and leading scientists of Ushynsky University - Doctors of Pedagogical Sciences, Professors Oleksiy Lystopad, Oleksandra Ordanovska, Tetyana Osypova, Oleksandra Popova, Viktoriya Balakireva, Iryna Knyazheva, Iryna Palshkova and others - joined the discussion of the ESP project.
Of particular importance to the members of the working group and the staff of the Department of Pedagogy was the opinion of applicants for the third educational and scientific level of education - postgraduate students. They expressed their suggestions, remarks, comments on the content of educational components, the procedure for completing scientific and pedagogical practice, and reporting documentation.
Olena Soloveichuk, a third-year postgraduate student, proposed adapting the reporting documentation for completing scientific and pedagogical practice to modern requirements. First-year graduate student Kyrylo Holenkovsky expressed the idea of the need to intensify international academic mobility of future scientists.
The opinion expressed by the students became decisive for the approval of the draft ESP, which took into account the comments of reviewers, the results of a survey on the website, and the opinion of experts from the University's Center for Quality Assurance in Education.
