During the week, a delegation of the State Institution "South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky" consisting of Prof. N. Chernenko, Prof. O. Bulgakova, Assoc. Prof. A. Yumrukuz, Assoc. Prof. I. Brynza is participating in a series of international workshops within the framework of the TURBO project (Transforming Universities for a Resilient, Inclusive and Sustainable Future), which are held at Kozminski University (Warsaw, Poland).

The project coordinator from Ushynsky University, Prof. Nataliya Chernenko, noted that for her, the Turbo project is "..a new start, new opportunities and prospects for IDPs, where they can receive not only socio-psychological support, but also advice on career growth."

During the monitoring session, the project participants presented the results of the implementation of the planned activities, discussed the achievements and challenges arising in the process of implementing the project initiatives, and outlined the prospects for further cooperation between the partner universities.

Particular attention was paid to the presentation of the experience of Ushynsky University on the topic "Communication and Support for IDPs: A Follow-Up". The report highlighted the system of support for internally displaced persons implemented at the university, as well as the results of activities aimed at their social and psychological integration.

The participants were presented with a comprehensive model of support based on three interrelated components: continuous communication and counseling, the activities of the Career Hub, and workshops. This approach not only contributes to the adaptation of internally displaced persons to new living and learning conditions, but also creates opportunities for professional development, employment, expansion of social ties, and increased psychological resilience.

The presented experience aroused considerable interest among international partners and became the subject of professional discussion regarding the possibilities of its scaling and adaptation in other higher education institutions.

Participation in the TURBO project activities confirms the desire of Ushynsky University to develop international cooperation, implement innovative educational practices, and create an inclusive and safe educational environment for all participants in the educational process.
