From June 8 to 13, 2026, the World University Championship Combat Sports was held in the capital of Brazil, which brought together the strongest student athletes from different countries of the world. Worthily representing Ukraine and our University at prestigious international competitions, Rodion Morozov, a first-year student of the first (bachelor's) level of higher education majoring in A7 Physical Culture and Sports, demonstrated a high level of sportsmanship, strength of character and a true will to win. As a result of intense fights, the athlete won a silver medal in the weight category up to 57 kg in the discipline of Thai boxing (muay Thai), confirming the high level of training of Ukrainian student athletes in the international arena. This achievement is a vivid testimony to hard work, professional training and dedication to the chosen cause. Rodion's success not only increases the sports glory of the University, but also inspires young people to new achievements and victories.
We express our sincere gratitude to the athlete, his coaches, mentors and everyone who participated in the preparation for these responsible competitions. We are proud and wish Rodion good health, inexhaustible energy, new sports achievements and further victories!
