Ushynsky University actively participated in the initiative of the First Lady Olena Zelenska - the National Accessibility Week, within the framework of which it held a number of events aimed at forming a culture of accessibility among all participants in the educational process.

In particular, on May 25, an open lecture by Associate Professor Iryna Orlenko was held on the topic "Inclusive Education: Essence, Principles and Support Mechanisms. Creating a Barrier-Free Environment in Higher Education".

On Wednesday, May 27, 2026, Ushynsky University co-organized the Round Table "Accessibility Roadmap: Challenges and Solutions", which was held at Poltava V. G. Korolenko National Pedagogical University.

On Friday, May 27, 2026, the issues of barrier-free communication were raised together with Tetyana Yevtushyna at an open lecture "Barrier-free Communication in Higher Education: The Power of Words and Respect".

In addition, each faculty and institute held thematic curatorial hours aimed at forming a culture of barrier-free access in society.
