On May 8, the state institution "South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky" began work on advanced training courses for coaches. The training brought together sports industry specialists around topical issues of modern training of athletes, sports medicine, law and physical training.

The first training days were eventful and fruitful. Course participants worked on a number of important topics together with leading teachers and industry practitioners on the following topics:

• "Navigator on sports law in Ukraine: key laws and by-laws";
• "Assessment of physical development and functional state of young athletes in the practical activities of a coach";
• "Modern views on the training of high-class athletes: working with the body";
• "Features of physical training in martial arts and martial arts";
• "Vitamins, minerals and fluid during the training of athletes";
• "Principles of post-exercise recovery in high-performance sports";
• "Varieties of classifications of general development exercises";
• "Sports heart. Formation, adaptation, pathological changes."

The courses are aimed at improving the professional competencies of coaches, introducing modern approaches to sports training and exchanging practical experience between specialists.
