On April 23-25, 2026, a large-scale scientific event, the International Conference “Ukrainian Language as a Foreign Language in the Dimensions of Today,” was held at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, which brought together researchers, teachers of Saturday and Sunday schools, and authors of Ukrainian language textbooks for foreigners from Austria, Bulgaria, Great Britain, Georgia, Italy, Canada, Lithuania, Germany, South Korea, Poland, the USA, Turkey, France, the Czech Republic, Sweden, Norway, and Croatia. A participant in the conference, Associate Professor of the Department of Slavic Linguistics A.O. Budnik organized an exclusive stream for the community of the Scientific Society of Students and Young Scientists of the Faculty of History and Philology directly from the epicenter of scientific events. Students and teachers of Ushynsky University had a unique opportunity to virtually attend a plenary session, a bright poster session of Lviv students of the EP "Ukrainian Language and Literature, Ukrainian as a Foreign Language", a cool workshop by Veronika Minchenko, founder and head of the language school "Verba" (Kaunas, Lithuania), and also take an incredible online tour of the university.
