On the platform of the Twenty-third All-Ukrainian Conference of Students and Young Scientists “Informatics, Information Systems and Technologies”, teachers - participants of the all-Ukrainian innovative educational project “Robotic Design System in Computer Science Lessons in Basic School” made speeches. The conference covers the topics of modern information technologies, artificial intelligence, computer science teaching methods and information technologies in education, which created a meaningful context for presenting the results of educational robotics practices.
Within the framework of the II stage of the all-Ukrainian project “Robotic Design System in Computer Science Lessons in Basic School”, teachers who are both graduates of Ushynsky University and young scientists presented their work. They shared with their colleagues practical solutions that demonstrate the possibilities of implementing robotic design in the school computer science course.
A.M. Kalashnikov and S.V. Vasyliev, the rrepresentatives of Odesa Lyceum No. 84 of the Odesa City Council, gave a report “Multimodal system of contactless automation of the environment based on computer vision and microcontroller peripherals”. O.S. Tkachenko - representative of Odesa Lyceum No. 9 of the Odesa City Council, presented a report “Development and implementation of robotic projects on the Arduino platform in the school computer science course”.
The speaker of the event was Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science Tetyana Leonidivna Mazurok. The focus of the discussion was practical approaches to the development, methodological description and further implementation of robotic solutions in computer science teaching.
The presented materials have important applied value: after methodological refinement, they will be included in the methodological developments of computer science lessons in grades 7–9. This will allow not only to generalize the experience of practicing teachers, but also to transform the most successful solutions into reproducible educational scenarios for other educational institutions - project participants.
The event became another confirmation that the project is gradually moving from the preparation stage to the systematic accumulation of practical educational solutions created by the teachers themselves in cooperation with the university scientific and methodological community.
