Discussion of the educational and professional program "Preschool Education" of the first (bachelor's) level in specialty A2 Preschool Education

The Department of Preschool Pedagogy held an extended meeting dedicated to discussing the educational and professional program "Preschool Education" of the first (bachelor's) level in specialty A2 Preschool Education. The event brought together scientific and pedagogical workers, representatives of the academic community, employers and other stakeholders interested in training modern specialists for the field of preschool education.

The participants focused on the issue of adapting the content of the program to the current challenges of the educational industry, as well as increasing its practical orientation. During the discussion, it was emphasized that the training of future educators should meet not only the state educational standard, but also the real needs of preschool education institutions and the expectations of employers.

Particular attention was paid to updating academic disciplines taking into account modern pedagogical approaches, developing students' digital competencies, and introducing innovative methods of teaching and raising preschool children. The issue of expanding opportunities for internships was also addressed separately, particularly through strengthening cooperation with preschool education institutions.

Employer representatives emphasized the importance of developing communication skills, emotional intelligence, the ability to work in a team and quickly adapt to changes in the professional environment among education seekers. It was also proposed to more actively involve practitioners in the educational process through guest lectures, master classes and trainings.

Following the meeting, a decision was made to systematize all proposals and integrate them into the updated version of the educational and professional program. It is expected that such changes will contribute to improving the quality of training for higher education seekers, their competitiveness in the labor market and compliance with modern trends in the development of preschool education.

The Department of Preschool Pedagogy plans to continue to regularly hold such discussions with the involvement of a wide range of experts, which will allow us to promptly respond to the challenges of the time and ensure high standards of educational activities.
