The Department of Preschool Pedagogy held a meeting dedicated to the results of the public discussion of the educational and professional program "Preschool Education. Management of a Preschool Education Institution" of the second (master's) level of higher education in specialty A2 Preschool Education.

At the meeting of the department, the proposals submitted during the public discussion were analyzed and it was determined which of them will be taken into account in the content of the EPP in the 2026 edition. The proposals taken into account will contribute to improving the content of the educational program in accordance with the modern requirements of the educational industry, the needs of the labor market and the training of competitive specialists in the field of preschool education. Summing up the results of the public discussion is an important stage in ensuring the quality of the content of the educational program in the context of compliance with professional standards.

The participants of the department meeting emphasized the need for constant updating of educational components, strengthening the practical component of training, as well as taking into account modern trends in the development of preschool education.

Particular attention was paid to the formation of managerial competencies of future heads of preschool education institutions, the development of their readiness for organizational, innovative and scientific and pedagogical activities.

In the educational content of the EPP in the 2026 edition, in order to improve it, recommendations were taken into account regarding the updating of the content of academic disciplines; strengthening practical training; introduction of modern approaches to the management of a preschool education institution.

Public discussion contributes to improving the quality of the educational and professional program and its compliance with the needs of modern society and the labor market, which is an important condition for the training of highly qualified specialists in the field of preschool education. According to the results of the meeting, the analyzed and approved proposals will be taken into account in further improving the content of the educational and professional program.
