On May 16, 2026, the Open Day of Ushynsky University and the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​was traditionally held. The event was attended by senior students of educational institutions of Odesa region.

The attendees were greeted by the rector Andriy KRASNOZHON. After the solemn presentation of the university, a consultation was held for graduates of secondary education institutions regarding the conditions for admission to the specialties of the Faculty of Foreign Languages.

The Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Oleksandra POPOVA, and the Senior Lecturer of the Department of Translation and Theoretical and Applied Linguistics, Nataliia KOROLOVA, spoke about the specifics of studying in specialties A1 Secondary Education “Language and Foreign Literature (English, German, Chinese, Korean, Turkish)” and B11 “Philology” (English, Chinese, German). Head of the International Relations Department Oleksandra MORHUN reported on international academic mobility programs in the EU and Eastern countries. At the end of the event, a photo session was held with applicants, guests and our students dressed in traditional Chinese qipao, hanfu and Korean hanbok.

As part of the event, students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​and representatives of the student government held master classes on Eastern and Germanic cultures. Foreign centers presented interesting activities to students!
