The celebration of the week of science at the Educational and Scientific Institute of Musical and Performing Arts and Sociocultural Practices began with the completion of our International Educational and Artistic Project “ARS SONORA: INTERNATIONAL GUITAR HUB”, which was held as part of the Scientific and Methodological Seminar “Art Education: Foreign Experience”.
On May 5, there was a final lecture by the German guitarist, conductor, founder and head of the international artistic project “Rotenburg Guitar Week”, conductor of the European Guitar Orchestra Hans Wilhelm Kaufmann. The famous guitarist and conductor has the honorary title of Professor Emeritus of the University of the Arts Bremen.
The topic of the lecture was “Johann Sebastian Bach”. But the lecture had a practical methodological aspect, revealing the problem of interpreting Bach’s music in the process of playing the guitar. G. Kaufmann has been teaching guitar and the course “Methodology / Subject Didactics of Guitar” to students of the University of the Arts Bremen (Germany) for 35 years. As a soloist and member of the “Neues Kammer Trio”, consisting of flute, viola and guitar, he works fruitfully at the international level.
The lecture was interesting and aroused the activity of the applicants.
The international educational and artistic project “ARS SONORA: INTERNATIONAL GUITAR HUB” has ended, but left vivid impressions, memories and methodological video materials for students. We are grateful to all participants of the project. Special thanks to the teacher of the Department of Theoretical, Musical, Instrumental and Vocal Training, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Viktoriya Sologub.
We will look forward to the next meetings and master classes.
