On the occasion of Science Day on May 18, 2026, the teachers of the Department of Higher Mathematics and Statistics organized and conducted an educational intensive "The Art of Non-Standard Solutions". The program of the event was rich and dynamic. The participants were presented with a whole series of mathematical problems with sophisticated and non-standard solutions, which demonstrated that mathematics is not just dry formulas, but a real art of logic and creativity.

To make the process as exciting as possible, the organizers used modern interactive teaching methods: the participants were offered to divide themselves into competitive teams of their own choice, each team looked for its own, sometimes unexpected approaches to solving the proposed problems. The culmination of the intensive was a detailed analysis of real tasks of the final stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in Mathematics. The event was held in a driving and inspiring atmosphere, pumping out-of-the-box thinking skills of students.
